Every fall, the local Resource Conservation District (RCD) collects, plants, and distributes acorns from local native oak trees in an effort to re-oak Napa County.

This year, RCD is collecting for planting projects in Alston Park, Skyline Park, the Cove on Mt. Veeder, and various other locations.

RCD relies on volunteers to help collect acorns, so if you see native oaks dropping their acorns, please collect them, bag them, fill out this Data Sheet, and deliver them to their office at 1303 Jefferson St, Suite 500B.
