Our October Field Trip will be to the Monterrey Bay Area Saturday - Sunday, October 16-17th. Monterey Bay has a wealth of local hotspots and many resident species as well as visitors during Fall Migration. (NSAS Event)

Details:

Leader: Amanda Preece, Asilomar State Park Ranger, will serve as our leader to this wonderful bird rich area.

Description: Our October Field Trip will be to the Monterrey Bay Area Saturday - Sunday, October 16-17th. Monterey Bay has a wealth of local hotspots with many resident species as well as visitors during Fall Migration. Amanda Preece, Asilomar State Park Ranger, will serve as our leader to this wonderful bird rich area. We will meet at 8 am on Saturday, October 16th at a location TBA.

Sign-ups are required as the trip will be limited to 15 participants. We request that all participants be vaccinated and that masks are worn when in close proximity to others. Due to size limitations birding activities will be reserved for Members and only open for non-members if Space Permits. We encourage all non-members to become a Member by clicking on our website’s JOIN Button. Annual Membership costs $25 for Individuals and $35 for Families.
