Director of the Suscol Intertribal Council, will talk about the indigenous peoples of Napa Valley and how they coexisted with nature.They used many different plants for food, healing, catching animals and local natural materials for tools and baskets.  They take care of the land to ensure years of a healthy environment. While RCD will have people planting acorns this morning to reestablish our supply of oak trees, Charlie will talk about how people can use the acorns as a sustaining food source, with samples of acorn bread.
