Audubon Field Trip to Pt. Reyes National Seashore

Sat, Oct 13th 2018, all day
Whitehouse Pool parking lot, on Sir Francis Drake Blvd

Here are the trip details from Napa-Solano Audubon:

This trip will focus on fall migrants, both uplands and coastal.

Meet at 8:00 am at the Whitehouse Pool parking lot, on Sir Francis Drake Blvd, a couple of miles southwest of the town of Pt. Reyes Station. http://madroneaudubon.org/pdf/WhiteHousePool.pdf

From there, we typically start out towards the Point, stopping at the Inverness Tennis Courts if any rarities have been seen there. We then stop at Mt. Vision Rd near another riparian area, then on out to the Historic B and A ranches to look for owls and others. After that, we stop at the Chimney Rock/Fish Docks parking lot to bird and have lunch. Time permitting, we will stop at Drakes Beach.

The weather can be either hot or cold and windy, so everyone should bring layers. There are a few places with restrooms, but nowhere to buy food, so bring all beverages and lunches with you.

Limit 15, RSVP to Wendy Cole, beehaven2@comcast.net
