Beginning Bird Walk & Habitat and Native Plants Workshop at Newell Preserve
Join us this week for our beginning bird walk covering our native habitat and plants that we can find in our area and how the birds utilize them. We will explore different habitats along the walk, and explore how each one supports different birds. We will also give tips on how you can easily create some habitat in your own yard/deck/patio. Come on down and join in the walk.
The workshop will start at 9:00a.m. followed by a walk at 9:30 a.m. until noon. Walks are appropriate for all ages (children must be accompanied by an adult). Please bring binoculars if you have them and water.
