Napa County's Creek to Bay Cleanup Day!

Sat, Sep 15th 2007, all day
September 15, 2007 is Napa County's Creek to Bay Cleanup Day!

The event is part of the 23rd annual California Coastal Cleanup Day, a statewide effort to clean trash and debris from beaches, bays, creeks, rivers, and lakes. From 9 am until noon, volunteers will collect trash and recyclables at various locations along the Napa River and other waterways in Napa County. This year's event will look to build on the success of last year, when 537 volunteers turned out to remove an estimated 11,970 pounds of trash and 3,038 pounds of recyclables from Napa County's waterways. Families, students, individuals, community groups, businesses, and political and community leaders are encouraged to participate.
