Trail Restoration at Cold Canyon

Sat, May 21st 2016, 8:30am - 2:00pm
See link to trip details above.

As many of you know, the beloved Cold Canyon Reserve was burned by the Wragg Fire this summer, destroying many water bars, stairs, signs, and damaging the trails due to erosion and falling trees. The trails have been closed since the fire. Tuleyome is partnering with the University of California on getting the trails re-opened.

The work will be from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm, on Saturday, with the option to stay later if you like. Come a little early to make sure you sign in.

If you plan on coming out, bring water, lunch, and a pair of gloves. We should have enough tools for everyone.

Please come on out and help restore one of our favorite local hiking spots. It's only with volunteer help that we can get the area re-opened!
