5000 Oaks Volunteer Day
In Fall 2015 volunteers fanned out across Newell Open Space in American Canyon to help Napa County RCD and Friends of the Napa River plant several hundred acorns. Help us monitor germination, remove invasive weeds and grasses, and apply soil protecting mulch to these young tree starts. Join the RCD’s 5,000 Oaks Initiative – a goal to plant 5,000 native oak trees across Napa County in 3 years.
