What’s Up With the Water Below

The Napa Library

The League of Women Voters Napa County is sponsoring a groundwater forum, “What’s Up With the Water Below,” on Nov. 23 at the Napa Library. The forum will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

The League of Women Voters considers itself one of the strongest national political lobbyists with leagues in thousands of counties across the U.S., all working toward making democracy work. Napa County’s first league disbanded in 1995, and was revived last year by a league member-at-large contingency.

This month, the Napa County member-at-large group gained full status as the League of Women Voters Napa County. They have established the Houghton Gifford M.D. scholarship to fund partial or in-full memberships for students and others who need financial assistance.
