BRBNA Conservation Partnership Knoxville Field Trip

Fri, Apr 13th 2007, 10:00am - 2:00pm
Join BRBNA Friday, April 13, for a field trip of BLM lands in the Knoxville Area.

The BRBNA Conservation Partnership will meet at 10:00 a.m. at the U.C. McLaughlin Reserve. Richard Burns, Field Manager for the BLM in Ukiah, will lead a tour by vehicle of the Knoxville Area for an overview of current issues. We will be discussing management challenges in the area, how best to meet public needs, the ACEC, future research, and recreational use, including OHV, equestrian, hiking, trail maintenance, shooting/designated shooting areas, facilities, oversight, fee use possibilities, etc.

The partnership currently has room for 15 passengers in the confirmed vehicles. Please bring your high-clearance vehicle if you have one. If you will need a space in one of the other vehicles, please let me know. BRBNA will have coffee and snacks in the morning, but bring a sack lunch. The field trip/meeting may last until 2pm.

The McLaughlin Reserve is located at 26775 Morgan Valley Rd. For directions, contact:
