A full-day workshop on ways to link water and land use to advance sustainable development in the San Francisco Bay Area. Join local officials, experts in land use planning and site design, water resource professionals, and natural resource management officials in this full day workshop covering the important topic of integrated water and land use planning. Participants will learn how strategies such as Smart Growth and Low Impact Development can be applied to align development practices and water resource protection, and how to maximize the efficient use of water resources in our growing communities.
