Healthy Creeks and Sediment Regulations in the Sonoma Creek Watershed

The Sonoma Valley community is urged to come to a public meeting about Healthy Creeks and Sediment Regulations in the Sonoma Creek Watershed, on Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2007, at the Sonoma Community Center, Room 110, 276 E. Napa St. Doors open at 6:30 pm, and the program runs from 7 – 9.

Learn about the findings of a new study on sediment sources in the watershed. Hear about next steps in the regulatory TMDL process. Share in a Q&A period with a panel of experts.

The panel experts are Dyan White and Tina Low from the San Francisco Regional Water Quality Control Board, Rebecca Lawton and Lisa Micheli from the Sonoma Ecology Center, and Laurel Collins from Watershed Sciences. The event is hosted by the Sonoma Ecology Center, the Southern Sonoma County Resource Conservation District, and the San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board.
