Beginning bird walk and hummingbird workshop
Explore Audubon's "Hummingbirds at Home" project. Learn about this citizen science program that not only gathers information about hummingbirds, but focuses on the habitat on which they rely. Participants in the workshop will receive a "Hummingbirds at Home" kit with wildflower seeds of native California flowers, supplies for creating a hummingbird feeder from recycled materials, and more. The walks are on flat ground and appropriate for all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Bring binoculars if you have them and water to drink.
