Creek to Bay Clean-up Day, Coastal Clean-up the Napa way!

Sat, Sep 16th 2006, 9:00am - 12:00pm
Volunteers are needed for Creek to Bay Cleanup Day. The event is part of the 22nd annual California Coastal Cleanup Day, a statewide effort to clean trash and debris from beaches, bays, creeks, rivers, and lakes. From 9am until noon, volunteers will collect trash and recyclables at various locations along the Napa River and other waterways in Napa County. This year's event will look to build on the success of last year, when 400 volunteers turned out to remove an estimated 4,280 pounds of trash and 1,130 pounds of recyclables from Napa County waterways. Families, students, individuals, community groups, businesses, and political and community leaders are encouraged to participate.
