What this is: Planting of native California plants on an easy-to-access levee using hands and other tools. No experience needed! Training, plants, gloves and tools provided. Members of Point Blue's STRAW project will be on-site to guide and assist in this work.

What to bring: Please prepare for light wind and some sun by wearing close-toed shoes, long pants, light long sleeves, a hat and jacket. Be sure to pack a lunch and bring a water bottle (drinking water available.)

Why help? Endangered species inhabit the surrounding wetlands. By
increasing the amount of transitional habitat for marsh animals, we
increase their chances of finding refuge from predators during winter
flood tides.
