Water for Life - Planning and Conservation League's 2014 Environmental Symposium

Sat, Feb 1st 2014, all day
UC Davis School of Law, King Hall

Register now for the Planning and Conservation League’s 2014 Environmental Symposium, which will take place on Saturday, February 1 at UC Davis School of Law. This year’s event is entitled Water for Life and will focus on moving California towards an equitable and sustainable water future.

PCL’s annual Symposium helps start the legislative session focusing on the most critical environmental issues facing the state. It helps educate decision-makers on the key issues of the day; allows activists to hear from and interact with key legislators and agency officials; and provides an important forum to explore how we can work together to promote a more effective legislative and policy agenda. Our 2013 event, which focused on CEQA, helped to shape the debate around that hot topic in 2013.

Many of the top thinkers, doers and decision-makers on water policy will be there, including:  Senator Lois Wolk, Assemblymembers Anthony Rendon and Mark Stone, Peter Gleick (Pacific Institute), Lester Snow (California Water Foundation), Tam Doduc (SWRCB), Robert Wilkinson (UC Santa Barbara), and many many others from the legislative, nonprofit, business, agency and academic arenas.

Space is extremely limited, so register now! Attendance is limited to 200 guests as we seek to bring together the true leaders on water policy in a more intimate setting to explore ways to work together to promote sustainable and equitable water planning for the state.
