Watershed- and Wallet-friendly Roads
 FREE classroom & field training for heavy equipment operators and land managers  who maintain roads and vineyard avenues

Training will focus on maintaining and creating roads to reduce annual maintenance costs and the amount of sediment entering local streams to comply with water quality protection programs.

Training topics:

  •   Road shaping techniques
  •   Stream crossing fail-safe structures
  •   Following typical construction drawings in a real world setting
  •   Checklist for determining whether or not your roads are storm-proof
  •   Estimating time involved in upgrading roads
