Climate Smart Actions for Natural Resource Managers
Please join us for a FREE half-day workshop to learn about climate change impacts, how to assess what these changes mean for resources you manage, and review examples of "climate smart" actions being implemented by Bay Area natural resource managers. This introductory workshop is geared for non-scientists who want to understand the coming changes, and how planning strategic actions can mitigate these pacts. Public and private land managers, land use and transportation planners, elected officials, and others wanting more information are welcome to participate on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, 1661 Page Mill Road, Palo Alto.
