Three Counties Hike:

Sunday March 17, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

Leaders: Cathy Koehler and Paul Aigner, Co-Director of the UC Davis - McLaughlin Reserve Presented in partnership with the Land Trust of Napa County

Rating: Strenuous, 5 miles, 1-2k ft elevation gain

This hike takes us through the remote corner of Lake County where it meets Yolo and Napa Counties. We will cross Reserve and BLM lands where there are unique opportunities to observe interesting geologic formations, early spring wildflowers, and other plants such as the primitive conifer California nutmeg. Hikers must wear hiking boots with good lug soles-any other footwear will not be allowed on the hike. Bring lunch, plenty of water, and weather gear as appropriate.  Rain cancels.
