Tour City of American Canyon Wastewater Treatment Plant
Join us Saturday for a free tour of the City of American Canyon’s Wastewater Treatment Plant. The tour, which is to be led by wastewater treatment staff, is designed to educate participants about a number of important aspects of the facility as well as staff responsibilities. They include: recycled water system; wastewater treatment process; regulatory compliance and constructed wetlands.The Wastewater Treatment Plant is located at 151 Mezzetta Court. The tour begins promptly at 9 a.m. Participants will need to wear long pants and close-toed shoes (no heals).
From Vallejo area: Take the Green Island Road, Watson Lane exit and follow the Paoli Loop to the right and around to Green Island Road. Turn left at Green Island Road. Turn Left at Mezzetta Court. Enter the driveway marked Wine Direct 125. Stop at the guard shack and let them know you are expected at the wastewater treatment plant. They will direct you to our gate. Press and hold the button on the call box, announce yourself, release button. Enter the gate and turn right. Park in front of the 2 story building and come up to the second floor.
