Pope Creek Habitat Restoration Project.
Where: Meet at the Pope Creek bridge parking lot at Lake Berryessa, which is also the project site.
When: November 3rd, 9am-12pm
What: We'll be getting the site ready for further plantings once the rain begins. So, we'll be clearing away weeds and invasives, digging up fennel roots and possibly preparing the soil for native grass plugs.
What to Bring: Wear sturdy shoes or boots, and a hat. If you have favorite work gloves bring them. Gloves and tools will also be provided. We'll have information available on trails to hike in the afternoon and where you can find a place to eat. Or bring a lunch and go to Oak Shores Park.
