Lynch Canyon - Friday Bird Walk

Fri, Feb 4th 2011, 8:00am - 12:00pm
Sweeney's Sport Store 1537 Imola Ave West Napa

This week the Napa-Solano Audubon Society will visit the Solano Land Trust's Lynch Canyon. It'll be warm so eagles and other raptors will be aloft early. Up at the lake there are moorhens and Ring-necked Ducks. Bi-colored Blackbird, Lark Sparrow and Hutton's Vireo are among the songbirds. This is an easy walk to the lake. Perhaps we will take a little climb up one hillside or another to gain a better view of rising hawks.Read more about these trips on the Friday Bird Walks page. A reminder from the Field Trip Coordinator: Car-poolers will share driving expenses (recommended $.30/mi to be split by the number of riders).
