Watershed Awareness Day at Salvador Creek

Local environmental agencies and nonprofits will have information and booths promoting responsible environmental stewardship and conservation. Among the planned events for the celebration are removing nonnative plants near the Summerbrooke Circle bike path, collecting and analyzing benthic macroinvertebrates found in Salvador Creek, collecting trash and debris, and identifying different types of plants and animals. This event provides be a friendly opportunity for adults and children to learn more about native riparian plants and endangered species in a fun and educational setting.
