The Napa Sonoma Marsh Restoration Group (NSMRG)

The Department of Fish and Game and the Coastal Conservancy will present information about the restoration effort for the ponds on the west side of the Napa River. In addition, DFG will give an introduction to the restoration planning for the Napa Plant Site on the east side of the Napa River. John Takekawa, USGS, will provide an update on a proposal for monitoring near-field and far-field effects of tidal wetland restoration in the lower Napa River was submitted to CALFED last November, Stuart Siegel will provide an update on the Integrated Regional Wetlands Monitoring (IRWM) program, and Josh Collins will provide a summary of the Napa Watershed demonstration of the California Rapid Assessment Method for wetlands (CRAM), which is beginning with an update of the National Wetlands Inventory.
