March 19th: Native American Plant Garden at Bothe SP

We’ve featured a couple of very long hikes recently.  We figured we’d counter with an extremely short hike that focuses on a very special place.  Join us on March 19th for a ramble through the Native American Plant Garden at Bothe-Napa Valley State Park.

Though it is a partially paved pathway (and ADA accessible), it’s also officially part of the State Park trail system.  Learn more about native plants and their traditional uses in this unique interpretive garden.

And since this is such a comparatively short hike & talk, we’re combining the hike with some volunteer raking and weeding for those who want to stick around and give this place some needed TLC.!

– One hour walk & talk through the Native American Plant Garden
– One hour set aside for volunteering (for anyone willing and able) to prep the garden for spring!
