Volunteer – Invasive Weed Removal – Feb 19
Join members of the Napa County Weed Management Area for the first in a series of five workshops designed to introduce volunteers to invasive weeds of concern here in Napa County. Each workshop will focus on one weed: how and when it arrived, how to identify it, how to remove it, and what the strategy is for long-term management.
Our first work day will focus on French broom and oblong-leaf spurge at Westwood Hills Park.
Please Come Prepared:
- Masks must be worn when in groups
- Thick pants and sturdy shoes keep you comfortable- you will be touching poison oak
- BYO filled water bottle and snacks
