Registration Opens for Forest Stewardship Workshops Beginning in February

Registration is open for the next series of forest stewardship workshops. Organized by the UC Cooperative Extension, the workshops will help landowners develop plans to improve and protect their forest lands in a sustainable manner. The next series begins Tuesday, February 2, 2020.

This workshop series will help landowners develop plans to improve and protect their forest lands in an ecologically and economically sustainable manner. The workshops will address management objectives and planning, forest restoration, fuels reduction, project development, permitting, and cost-share opportunities. Participants will connect with other landowners and learn how to collect information to develop their own management plans. Registration costs $60.

Tribal-focused Stewardship Workshop

February 2 - April 13: Online & Big Sandy Rancheria

March 22 - May 27: Online & Humboldt County
