“Nature and You” Lecture Series: Rangelands Management - Online
Much of California land, both public and private, is rangeland, grazed or available for grazing. What exactly is rangeland? How do you know when rangeland is overgrazed… or undergrazed? What happens when invasive species comes to town? Where does fire fit in? What is the best way to manage rangeland for the benefit of the long term sustainability of the land? There is new knowledge to help answer these questions. Please join Julea Shaw and Grace Woodmansee from the UC Rangelands network on Thursday, June 25 at 7:00 PM to learn about the interesting and important science of range management.
This lecture will be ONLINE in a Zoom meeting. You must register on this page (be sure to include your email address) and download Zoom. (There is no need to create an account.) After registering, participants will be sent an email with the meeting ID and password. After the lecture, you will be able to ask questions via Zoom’s chat feature.
