Sat, Mar 21st 2020, 10:00am - 1:00pm
Pacific Union College Demonstration and Experimental Forest

Join the manager of Pacific Union College’s Forest, Peter LeCourt, in partnership with JoeJoe Clark, our conifer enthusiast, and Jessica Ardizzone, long-time Angwin and Napa Valley resident. On this approximately 4.4 mile hike they’ll give an overview of the newly opened and officially sanctioned forest and its practices, including fire mitigation, the partnership between the forest and the Napa Open Space District, and all things coniferous—not to mention any other wonderful things seen along the way! This is a moderate hike of about 3 hours, but be forewarned that it does include the infamous steeps of Anguish Hill! Come join us in this beautiful forest for what is sure to be a lively conversation on PUC’s extended campus. Bring a lunch and your best behavior— we’ll be eating in the Church Bowl.
