Nature and You Lecture Series: “Bats!” with Corky Quirk

Thu, Feb 27th 2020, 7:00pm - 9:00pm
Woodland Public Library, 250 First Street Woodland, CA 95695

Are there bats in Woodland?  Of course there are!  And you need to learn about them.  Bats are incredible flying mammals, often misunderstood and very useful in our environment.  Join bat expert and founder of NorCal Bats, Corky Quirk, for an evening full of bat information.  In addition to educating us about what bats live in this area, what role they have in the environment here, what challenges they face, and what you can do to help, she will be bringing live animals!  This lecture should not be missed.  If you did not appreciate our local bats before, you will after seeing Corky’s lecture.

The Woodland Public Library is at 250 First Street Woodland, CA 95695 and the lecture will be held in the Leake Room (enter from the parking lot on the North Side of the library).
