Wilderness First Aid Two-Day Training

8am – 5pm

Do you like hiking and backpacking in wilderness areas? This class is for you! Gain valuable tools and knowledge to handle a wilderness first aid emergency in this 16-hour, two-day intensive course. This class focuses on learning and practicing skills that can be used in wilderness settings and covers a variety of outdoor injury scenarios. The Pepperwood Preserve course is primarily indoors, but also includes up to a half day of outdoor scenarios practicing first aid skills. Successful completion of this class includes a Wilderness First Aid certificate, which is good for 3 years. Wilderness EMT and instructor, Bobbie Foster, has been involved in outdoor recreation for almost 30 years and is the Principal of Foster Calm.

$170 per participant ($150 for members)

Registration for the general public begins at 9am on Monday, December 9, 2019.

Refund policy: If registration is canceled 30 days or more the event, a full refund can be offered. No refund will be issued for cancellations within 30 days of the event. For cancellations within 30 days of the event, registrants have the option to take a class credit for a future course with Foster Calm.
