Ridge Trail Day at Newell Open Space/Lynch Canyon
The Ridge Trail turned 30, so get Dirty!
On Saturday, November 2, hundreds of volunteers will join the Bay Area Ridge Trail Council, REI Co-op, and our park and non-profit partners for the 12th annual Ridge Trail Day to celebrate and give back to the trail we love!
Volunteers will join the City of American Canyon, Solano Land Trust, and Solano County Parks to restore a seasonal wetland and to improve trail wayfinding. We will be conducting a native species planting portion around the perimeter of the wetland and installing trail wayfinding posts along the existing trail.
All ages are welcome. Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
