Upper Spring Branch Creek Restoration Volunteer Day
You will be weeding around the plantings and re-caging several of the plants. No plant identification experience needed.
Meet at the Rush Ranch parking lot on Friday, May 10th, at 8:30 am. There will be a caravan to the site. You will be hiking a short distance over mild slopes trough tall grass, so insect repellent may be desired. Caging and weeding does require some bending. If you have gardening gloves, please bring them. Don't forget your water bottles and sun screen! The location does not have much shade. You may want to bring your binoculars, as you will be passing the Tricolored Blackbird nesting area!
