Lagoon Valley Regional Park; 4699 Pena Adobe Rd., Vacaville, CA 95687 Please have $6 ready if we need to park inside the park.

Lagoon Valley consists of many hiking trails among the hills and canyons and groves of mixed conifers and deciduous trees. Many waterbirds are in the  filled reservoir and winter residents abound. The oaks have now lost their leaves making it easier to peer into the canopy. Some migrants are beginning to be reported White-Breasted Nuthatch, Western Bluebird, Green Heron, Yellow-Rumped Warbler, Cedar Waxwing, American wigeon, Double-Crested Comorant and Nuttall's Woodpecker are guaranteed.

Be sure to bring water; binoculars are a must. The trail is mostly paved.  Sturdy hiking boots or shoes should be worn as it could be muddy off the trails and in the grass.

The weather is projected to be in the low 50s and a 70% chance of rain throughout the day. HEAVY RAIN WILL CANCEL!
