Join the Napa-Solano Audubon Society for a field trip at Rockville Regional Park!

What are the favored nesting locations for White-breasted Nuthatches? Come learn about their nestbox requirements, and if your backyard habitat would be a natural draw. What are the long-term conservation concerns for White-breasted Nuthatches, and what role is Climate Change having in their projected range? Nuttall’s and Acorn Woodpeckers also make regular appearances at this park.

Walks and workshops are aimed at Beginning Birders and are held twice per month on Saturdays. All workshops begin at 9 a.m., followed by a bird walk from 9:30 a.m. until noon. Walks are appropriate for all ages (children must be accompanied by an adult). This walk requires hiking up and down hills, and possibly muddy paths. Please wear sturdy walking shoes, bring binoculars if you have them, and water.
