Sun, Feb 10th 2019, 12:00pm - 3:00pm
28875 County Rd. 104 Davis, 95618

The Putah Creek Council is holding a pop-up nature center in the city of Davis.

Stop by the South Fork Preserve on Sunday, February 10 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM to learn about local wildlife and nature at this free, family-friendly, drop-in event.

What's a Pop-Up Nature Center?

A Pop-Up Nature Center is just that: a Nature Center that pops up out of nowhere! One minute there's an empty space, and the next.. there's tables of natural artifacts, cool things to touch and feel, and opportunities to learn about what lives at Putah Creek.

This Pop-Up Nature Center event is run by the South Fork Preserve Docents, a volunteer group of naturalists that offer public programs at the South Fork Preserve. Docents will be on hand to lead short guided walks as visitors explore the Preserve's trails and creek views.

No RSVP is necessary, but you can sign up in order to receive reminders about the event. The South Fork Preserve parking lot will be open (with free parking) from 12pm to 3pm.

For questions in advance, please call or email Karin Young at Putah Creek Council, 530-795-3006 or karin@putahcreekcouncil.org
