The Hills are Alive: Hiking in the Archer Taylor Preserve with biologist, Jonathan Koehler

Back by popular demand is the Napa Valley Museum's Outdoor hiking series with Jonathan Koehler, senior biologist of the Napa County Resource Conservation District. This robust hike takes explorers through century old redwoods and mountains at the Archer Taylor Preserve located at the western most end of Redwood Road in Napa County. Jonathan will educate hikers on the geology of the area as well as demonstrate the plant and animal diversity hiding in the hills of the Mayacamas Mountains. Participant s are encouraged to bring water, snacks, hats, and comfortable walking shoes. We are meeting at the Archer Taylor Preserve and space is limited, so please call the museum to make your reservation. The cost is $5.00 for members and $10.00 for non-members.
