Integrated Regional Water Management Region Acceptance Mtg.
The Department of Water Resources (DWR) has released draft Integrated Regional Water Management (IRWM) Region Acceptance Process (RAP) guidelines for public comment. DWR will be soliciting oral and written comments on the draft RAP guidelines from interested parties, stakeholders, and the public at two upcoming public meetings. The first public meeting will be held on Thursday January 22 in Southern California and a second meeting is scheduled for Monday January 26 in Northern California.
Due to technical difficulties, webcast will not be available at the upcoming public comment meetings. Public comments will be accepted until 9 a.m. on Tuesday January 27, 2008. Please send them to DWR_IRWM@water.ca.gov. However, the Power Point presentation to be given at both meetings will be made available by 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 21, 2009 and can be viewed at http://www.grantsloans.water.ca.gov/grants/irwm/integregio_rap.cfm on the DWR website.
