BRBNA Conservation Partnership Meeting

The next meeting of the BRBNA Conservation Partnership will be held on on Friday, February 13 at 10 a.m. at the Winters Community Center, 201 Railroad Ave. in Winters.

Jim Weigand (State BLM) and Craig Thomsen (Dept. of Plant Sciences,UC Davis) have been working on a watershed assessment for the Upper Cache (Bear Creek) watershed. The project is funded through CALFED via Proposition 50 and the Department of Water Resources. They will be presenting their findings to the Partnership as part of their outreach efforts. The focus is on stakeholder "Goals and Stewardship Issues" that have been identified for the 65,000 acre watershed.

In addition, John Woodbury, General Manager of the Napa County Regional Park and Open Space District, will provide an update on all District projects in the BRBNA, including Camp Berryessa.

Other topics that will be discussed include:
Status of BOR resort contracts
Current Steering Committee Review of the BRBNA strategic plan
Partnership plans for spring celebration
