Pepperwood Preserve Restoration Workday

Join Pepperwood Preserve on Saturday to plant native grasses on the Pepperwood hillside that was affected by the Tubbs Fire and their salvage logging process. The plantings will help stabilize the soil during winter rains, increase biodiversity, and create habitat and food sources for little critters. Ages 10 years - youth under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Dress appropriately for warm or cool weather.

9:30-10:00am - Refreshments
10:00-1:00pm - Workday activity
1:00-2:00pm - Lunch provided by Pepperwood

RECOMMENDED AGE
10 years old and up—youth under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
 
WHAT TO WEAR
Dress appropriately for the warmer or cool weather and for working off-trail on slightly sloped terrain by wearing layered work clothes, sturdy boots, sunscreen and a hat.
 
WHAT TO BRING
Sturdy boots, water bottle, friends and family.
