Wild Napa Series – Bees

Wed, Jul 13th 2016, 7:00pm - 8:00pm
Napa Main Library - Community Room 580 Coombs St, Napa

Dr. Gordon Frankie will share intriguing stories about the relationships between bees, flowers, and people. He will address questions such as:  Why should everyday people care about bees? How can we build habitat in gardens and agricultural areas? What is causing the decline in honey bees and how can we help conserve them? Are native bees important to agriculture, and human food supplies? Beautiful, enlarged bee images by a local artist will be on display.
