Audubon Waterbird Program
We kick off our fall programs with a presentation on the Audubon Waterbird Program at Richardson Bay.
Audubon California recently initiated a Waterbird Program housed at the Richardson Bay Audubon Center & Sanctuary in Tiburon. The program focuses on protecting and enhancing populations of waterbirds found on San Francisco Bay, such as Surf Scoter, Greater & Lesser Scaup and Western & Clark’s Grebes. Come learn from Kerry Wilcox, Waterbird Program Manager at the Richardson Bay Audubon Center & Sanctuary, about the goals of the program, why Richardson Bay was chosen, and how we hope to scale conservation actions up to San Francisco Bay and the Pacific Flyway.
