Pope to Putah Creek Trail Hike

The hike will start at 9:30 AM from the Pope Creek bridge in Pope Valley, by the rock quarry.

  • Come hike a new trail still in the making. The P2P trail connects the two upper arms of Lake Berryessa. Tuleyome is pioneering a new connector trail between these two arms. Well hike as far as the trail goes, overlook the secluded Putah Creek arm, then hike back, getting wonderful views of Pope Valley and Pope Canyon.

    The hike will start at 9:30 AM from the Pope Creek bridge in Pope Valley, by the rock quarry. The hike is about 3. - 3.5 miles out and the same coming back, of course, so about 6-7 miles total. The elevation gain is about 800-1000 ft. The hike will take all day, getting back to the cars around 4PM. Bring water, lunch and hiking boots.
