Event: Workshop on Alluvial Fan Processes and Local Examples with Field Trip
This workshop will describe alluvial fan processes local examples include Rector, Mill, Ritchie and Conn Creeks in Napa Valley and various valleys inthe Russian River watershed. Appropriate management and revegetation practices will be presented. Then we will have a field trip to see a revegetation project at the alluvial fan on Rector Creek. Please wear appropriate field clothes, sturdy shoes and bring water and a hat.
