2018 Groundwater Report Presented to Board of Supervisors
On Tuesday, March 19th at 9:00am, Napa County Public Works will provide a presentation and report, Groundwater Sustainability: Annual Report – Water Year 2018, to the Board of Supervisors.
The 2018 Annual Report summarizes activities implemented to improve the understanding of groundwater resource conditions and actions taken to ensure groundwater sustainability. This is the second Annual Report prepared to also meet the annual reporting requirements of the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA). This Report presents an update on groundwater conditions and water use in the Napa Valley Subbasin (Subbasin), as required by Section 356.2 of the Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP) Regulations. The 2018 report also provides an update on progress to date on recommended SGMA implementation actions.
Another presentation on the Groundwater Sustainability: Annual Report – Water Year 2018 will be provided to the Watershed Information and Conservation Council (WICC) on Thursday, March 28th at 3:00pm.
