Green trucking company goes purple with recycled water

A section of water ,main outside Biagi Bros. trucking company in south Napa has been painted a light purple, along with the cement lids that cover underground water connections. But this isn't some whimsical art project or random graffiti. The purple pipes were intentionally painted.

They designate that the water inside is recycled water. Biagi Bros. recently spent $50,000 connecting their irrigation system to underground recycled water pipes. The trucking company will save an estimated $21,000 per year by using the reclaimed water on its landscaping.
