Kennedy Park Napa, CA

On Saturday, October 10, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., the City of Napa will host Parke Diem, a shared Arbor Day Celebration and Grand Opening Festival for the Napa Skate Park at Kennedy Park.  Morning activities will include park enhancements and tree planting, culminating with an afternoon ribbon-cutting ceremony, open skateboarding and plenty of family fun.

Volunteer participants will meet at 9:00 a.m. at Kennedy Park, located at the intersection of Highway 221 and Streblow Drive, to plant trees and improve the park.  The ribbon-cutting ceremony for Napa Skate Park, North Bay’s newest and largest skate park, will begin at 12 p.m.  Admission is free and open to the general public and activities will include music, food, vendors and professional skateboarding demonstrations.  All registered volunteers will eat lunch for free.

We need your help to promote the event.  Community members who wish to volunteer should contact the Parks and Recreation Services Department at (707) 257-9529 or register online at naparec.com by clicking below the tree logo.
