Waterways Keepers River Cleanup

Mon, Jan 19th 2015, 10:00am - 12:00pm
Meet the Kennedy Park Boat Launch in Napa

Peace and quiet outdoors, good people and lots of fresh air!  Join us as on this National Day of Service as we restore the natural beauty and health of Napa's river by picking up the litter that doesn't belong there. In addition, you'll learn about our river and the waterways system in the Valley from Leif Bryant of the Napa County Flood Control District.

This is easy and fun. Children are most welcome if supervised by an adult.

Meet the Kennedy Park Boat Launch in Napa. We'll clean-up the river banks and maybe even the duck and geese pond if we have time.

NOTES:  Dress in layers with good working shoes. Bring gloves if you like 'em and water to drink. We'll have bags and pickers to help collect trash. Heavy rain cancels, but light rain just makes it ore fun!

BTW:  If this date doesn't work for you, let us know when would be better for your group and we'll take care of the rest.

RSVP:  Email Margret.
