First Day Hike - Bald Mountain
Celebrate the new year -- and 150 years of California State Parks -- with a hike to Bald Mountain. This 6.5 to 7.4-mile hike (final route will be determined by trail conditions) will include a climb of 1,500 feet, featuring fantastic views of Sonoma Valley, Napa Valley, and San Francisco. Be prepared for inclement weather. Pack a lunch. No Fees and no RSVP required. Meet at the main day-use lot. Bob Long, Laura Blatt, and Dave Chalk will lead the outing. No charge for hike, though parking fees apply. See you on the First!
