Discover how to get in on fun, healthy outdoor winter & spring wildlife monitoring projects. Learn to watch birds & record the data for science. Wendy Schackwitz, President of Napa Solano Audubon, will present the history of Christmas Bird Counts (CBC), how they can be fun for everyone (amateurs welcome), when they are happening & how to sign up. She will also introduce this year's CBC for kids, Hummingbirds at Home project, Bluebird Nestbox monitoring & more. Additionally, Wendy will introduce the beautiful, new Audubon publication: Breeding Birds of Solano County. Those who have pre-purchased the book are welcome to bring it along for a book signing by the authors. Everyone welcome!
